HUADISK HV2283 1TB SSD Performance Test
As times change and technology advances, the rise of storage is leading the world toward a high-quality lifestyle. Today we introduce HUADISK's newcomer: the HV2283 series.

The controller carries the Hosin Global (HOSIN) marking and is labeled HG2283. It is actually a Phison E13 controller, simply relabeled by Hosin Global.
The NAND is SK hynix TLC flash — we guarantee it is genuine SK hynix — packaged by Hosin Global, with 2 packages in total at 512GB each.
This SSD uses a DRAM-less design, with only the NAND packages on a single side plus a controller. Let's put it on the test bench.

As you can see, this SSD comes with a heatsink in a premium gold finish that naturally brings gold to mind — both the SSD and its heatsink are high-end.

After installing it, we first check its SMART information: this is a 1024GB SSD.
The actual capacity after partitioning is 953GB.

Next we ran CrystalDiskMark and the AS SSD disk benchmark.
The HV2283 reaches sequential read/write speeds of 3200 and 2400, and its 4K random read hits 78. The 4K random write result is also very good.

In the HD Tune 200GB file benchmark, the write speed stayed around 2400 throughout, and the drive never exhausted its SLC cache within 200GB — the SLC cache is quite large.

Next came a real full-drive write test under Windows. Within the SLC cache, write speeds reach 2.4GB/s. The drive has a 330GB SLC cache using a full-drive dynamic scheme. Once the SLC cache is exhausted, the write speed drops to about 100MB/s, which is relatively slow; however, most people never perform a one-time full-drive write and only ever use the in-cache speed.

The second test is a half-drive copy test: large files equal to half of the HV2283's capacity are stored on the drive and then copied within it. Within the SLC cache, the internal copy speed reaches 1.1GB/s; after the SLC cache is exhausted, it is 80MB/s.

The third test is a full-drive write test: with only 100GB of free space remaining on the HV2283, 100GB of large files were copied in from an external drive. Even when nearly full, the HV2283 still has a 20GB SLC cache, with in-cache speeds soaring to 1.5GB/s.

Next were real-world load-time tests in Genshin Impact, Forza Horizon 5 and Cyberpunk 2077. For comparison, I used a 1TB RC20, and the HV2283 was slightly faster in all load tests.
