HUADISK Storage Product Tips
Read/write speed:
The speeds stated for storage products may vary depending on the host's hardware, software and usage environment. This is normal and not a product quality issue.
Compatibility:
Please note that M.2 NVMe SSDs are not backward compatible with M.2 SATA3 SSDs. M.2 SSDs come in three channel modes: PCIe 3.0 x4 / PCIe 3.0 x2 / SATA 3.0. Except for MSI laptops, whose M.2 slots are fully compatible with PCIe 3.0 x2, most laptops can only use one of these modes. On some desktops, using the M.2 slot disables the SATA 5 and SATA 6 ports. Please refer to the computer manufacturer's customer service or the motherboard manual.
Installation:
A new SSD is unallocated by default (no capacity is shown under “My Computer”) and must be partitioned before use. Because the USB controller chips on new-platform motherboards have been upgraded, if the drive is not recognized with the traditional installation method, please install using a Win10 PE or an original Win10 image! Drive installation videos and test tools are available from customer service on request.
Before installing the operating system, we recommend enabling AHCI mode in the BIOS, and making sure partitions are 4K-aligned (recent versions of DiskGenius align to 4K by default).
Operating system version:
We recommend installing a clean version of Windows 7 or later, as it supports the SSD's built-in TRIM command.
Data backup:
While using the product, please keep multiple backup copies of important data. In the event of a quality issue, official after-sales service provides product replacement, which does not include data recovery, and we are not liable for losses caused by data loss. We apologize for any inconvenience.
